Retention, export and deletion

Events and check detail are retained for 3 days on Free, 7 days on Builder, and 30 days on Pro. Event expiry is fixed at creation. Active watches retain their latest successful baseline while active, including while paused; completed and expired baselines are removed after their retention window. Cleanup runs at least hourly, with expired event payloads unavailable immediately through the API.

Cursors bind the workspace and filters. A cursor older than retained history returns HTTP 410 cursor_expired rather than silently skipping a gap. Restart from the oldest retained events or explicitly choose start=latest. Never assume inbox retrieval guarantees you have all historical events.

Workspace owners can export watch configuration and up to 1,000 events through Settings; use cursor pagination for the complete retained inbox. Secret values are never exported. Workspace deletion immediately revokes access and stops polling and deliveries, cancels its subscription when billing is enabled, and removes active product data within seven days. Minimal billing, usage and security records may be retained for accounting, abuse prevention and legal obligations. Usage ledger: 13 months; security audit records: 90 days. Encrypted backup copies expire under the configured backup schedule.
